Some Basic Batting Tips

Hey all viewers today im going to discuss the great game of cricket and its most importan and one of the enjoying phase batting.Well guys who don't know much about batting so, for batting following equpments are required

1.A Cricket Bat
2.A pair of Batting Gloves
3.A pair of batting pads
4.A thigh Guard
5.An arm guard (if you want it)
6.A helmet
7.A box

So,after getting all this stuff u are mow ready to bat there are some terms in batting which are discussed below

THE GRIP

The grip plays the most important role in batting because it allows u to play full range of cricket shots and achieve high scores.Without correct grip u r not comfortable on the crease u can hit the ball where u want and u cant get out pretty easily
So the basics for gripping the cricket bat is u put the bat on the ground and the lift it the 2 v's will be formed and then u can lock them in just shown in the pictures below

Here is the correct grip for u guys now im going towards next phase The Batting Stance.

The Batting Stance

So,fellas to take a batting stance u first need to mark up ur guard u can it on the off stump, leg or middle stump i would prefer the leg stump guard as it give some more extra room to hit it on the off side but anyways the choice is yours u can take it where ever u want the picture shows u to the correct way to take a guard

So, now its time for u to take the batting stance spread ur legs a little knock the bat down keep ur both hands as close as u can on the bat the upper hand rests more comfortably under the left thigh.
Next u have to adjust ur head position it is very important the head position that u keep ur head still and watch the ball like a hawk ok so ur head should be in line with ur shoulder just like in the picture below

The next phase in ur batting stance is footwork good foot work will allow u to play the ball with sweet timing the basic principles for the footwork are watching the bowl till the end if the ball is near u then play front if its far from u then play back

                                                                    PLAYING FRONT

                                                                   PLAYING BACK

The Backlift

Backlift is the position in which batsman lifts his bat up when he is going tpo play the stroke it should be done from leg stump to avoid the gap between the bat and the pad which can lead u being lbw and bowled out so here is perfect eg. of it

Follow these tips and u will be good at batting also remember that dont try to be adventurous play to ur limitation and stay at the crease till the end so
good luck and thanks
